The Career Services Office (CSO) at LUMS consistently strives to achieve the best placements for its students by providing various opportunities to network with big industry names via campus recruitment events where prospective employers actively seek out the best talent and hire them.The students in turn make good use of these platforms offered to them. A recent opportunity presented by CSO was the Packages Group recruitment drive held on Monday, February 11, 2019.
The Group came to campus to recruit for their Management Trainee and Internship Programmes. Ms. Zoya Zaidi, Assistant Manager Organisational Excellence, Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding started the session by explaining how a single company grew into 13 different entities. Mr. Jawad Gillani, Head Human Resource narrated the history, culture and the core values of the Packages Group.
Later, they invited Mr. Bilal Umer, LUMS graduate of the first batch of BS Chemistry and MBA 2016, who shared his experiences at Packages and said that it is the best place to work, as employees are provided opportunities to create value through their work.
Concluding the session, Ms. Zaidi explained the hiring procedure through their online application form and encouraged students to apply.
