In memory of their beloved classmate, the late Mussadiq Javed, the MBA Class of 2005, initiated a loan grant at LUMS (Lahore Univeristy of Management Sciences) to support the education of scholars who hail from financially modest backgrounds.
The MoU signing between LUMS and MBA Class of 2005 was signed on June 22, 2017. The said loan fund will provide interest free loans to a single student annually enrolled at the LUMS MBA Programme. It will cover half of his/her tuition fee expenses.
Present at the ceremony were Prof. Dr. S. Sohail H. Naqvi, Vice Chancellor LUMS; Mr. Ali Safdar Raja, Head of Development LUMS and Ms. Kiran Ali Khan representative for the Mussadiq Javed MBA 2005 Loan Fund.
Prof. Dr. S. Sohail H. Naqvi, appreciated the efforts by the MBA Class of 2005 for starting this fund and stressed on strong alumni engagement in making this noble initiative a success.
At the end of the ceremony, signed copies of agreement were exchanged.
