MBA Class 2005 has decided to extend its support towards LUMS by creating a loan fund in memory of their friend. The new fund is called, Mussadiq Javed MBA 2005 Loan Fund. This will be used to fund half of the tuition fee of one MBA student. The cheque was handed over by Mr. Sajid Sufi to Prof. Dr. S. Sohail H. Naqvi on August 28, 2017.
Dr. Naqvi appreciated the efforts that the class of MBA 2005 has put in to backing LUMS. He further added that this kind of donation from alumni gives LUMS the strength to keep its promise of need blind admissions alive. He also reiterated that the University has a special place for its alumni and will continue to make communication between the alma mater and the alumni stronger.
Mr. Sajid Sufi also expressed his thoughts on the occasion and ensured that this is just the beginning of a lifelong commitment of the class to the University and in the future, it is going to donate more to support LUMS. He also added that the class will continue to provide positive and constructive feedback to make LUMS one of the best University of the world.
