The LUMS Religious Society in collaboration with the LUMS Culture Society organised a ‘Bayan’ by renowned scholar, Maulana Tariq Jameel at LUMS. A large number from the LUMS community turned out to attend one of the most anticipated events of the year.
Maulana Jameel shed light on the values of Ikhlaaq (character of a human being) and the importance of holding on to our cultures and traditions. He urged the audience to be more pious and fulfil their religious obligations of Prayer and Fasting in Ramadan. He also narrated stories about the Prophets and of the final Prophet (PBUH) to clarify the themes of character and behaviour during Ramadan.
