LUMS Sialkot Alumni Chapter organised a reunion for LUMS graduates in Sialkot on Monday, February 26, 2018 at a popular eatery, Chifan Restaurant. It was a night of celebrating achievements, friendships and sharing memories of LUMS. The Sialkot Alumni Chapter representatives welcomed fellow alumni, faculty member, Dr. Arif Iqbal Rana who is Associate Professor, Suleman Dawood School of Business, LUMS and Alumni Relations Office representatives at the gathering.
The alumni discussed the growth and development that has taken place at LUMS, having formed five schools now. Furthermore, they also appreciated how liberal and accepting the LUMS environment is. The discussions also branched out onto the business sector in Sialkot as most of the alumni present at the gathering were running their own businesses. The reunion proved to be a great networking opportunity for the alumni entrepreneurs in Sialkot.
Dr. Rana presented a ‘LUMS Ambassador’ certificate to Mr. Ahtesham Mazahar Gillani, EMBA graduate who is the President of the Sialkot Alumni Chapter. Mr. Abdur Rehman Qureshi, BSc graduate and Vice President, Sialkot Alumni Chapter and Mr. Omer Farooq, Treasurer of the Chapetr were also given certificates for their great contribution in keeping the Sialkot alumni engaged.
The reunion concluded with a delicious Chinese dinner, over which the alumni reminisced about their remarkable days at LUMS.
