LUMS Law Journal (LLJ) is pleased to announce a call for papers for its fourth volume. LLJ is a peer-reviewed publication of the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL), LUMS). The primary objective of LLJ is to provide a forum for scholarly discourse amongst law students, faculty, lawyers, judges, practitioners and experts on important legal and social issues, which may lead to policy reforms. LLJ is run by a student body under the close supervision of law faculty at LUMS.
Nature of Submissions
The Journal comprises of various sections: (1) Articles, (2) Comments, (3) Case Notes, (4) Legislative Reviews, and (5) Book Reviews. Articles are substantive research pieces of about 6000-8000 words. Comments, Case Notes and Legislative Reviews are discursive pieces and can be on recent bills, statutes, reports, and judgments of superior courts, between 2500-3000 words. All the given word limits are exclusive of footnotes.
Deadline for Submissions
We accept material for publication throughout the year. For our upcoming volume, please submit your work by June 30, 2017.
All submissions must be original and must not have been published elsewhere.
