Treble, a startup incubated at the LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship in the 4th cohort, has made it to the top 15 at Startup Istanbul 2016. The startup was selected from a pool of the most promising 100 startups from all over the world. It was one of the two Pakistani startups to be chosen from 25,000 startups from 135+ countries that applied in the capacity.
Treble is a brainchild of LUMS alumni Muhammad Saad and Muqeet Shahzad. Treble focuses on music and defines themselves as the Spotify + Instagram of crowd-sourced music videos. It takes videos uploaded by people across the globe and stitches them together to create a complete music video. After successfully graduating from the incubation programme at the LUMS Center of Entrepreneurship in March 2016, the company has been invited to prestigious startup summits such as Google-LUMS Pakistan Startup Summit in May, 2016. Treble has also come into a partnership with Sony Global Entertainment for access to their music assets.
