LUMS BS Mathematics Student Selected for Global UGRAD - Pakistan

Aamina Adil, a LUMS BS Mathematics student of 2020 has been accepted into the Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, IA, in a one-semester, non-degree academic programme in the field of Mathematics, as part of her selection for the Global Undergraduate Exchange Programme in Pakistan (Global UGRAD - Pakistan). Global UGRAD - Pakistan is sponsored by the US Department of State with funding provided by the US Government and administered by IREX.

Expressing her sentiments at being selected for the exchange programme, Adil said, “This programme will not only allow me to evolve into a more practical and independent person but will also help me gain skills and experience through participation in a variety of activities in our host community. I am looking forward to being a culture ambassador there and learning from the diversity that the US has to offer. I am extremely grateful to my friends and instructors at LUMS for their encouragement and support throughout the process and I hope I can make the most of this opportunity."
