The first LUMS Alumni KPK Chapter get together took place on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Pearl Continental Hotel, Peshawar. Twenty five alumni from different batches and programmes attended the event.
The highlight of the event was the presence of Mr. Yusuf Khan, former Secretary Finance, Punjab, who is currently working as Team Lead-KESP at Adam Smith International. He shared his experiences and had a detailed discussion with the alumni.
Ahmed Murtaza, LUMS Student Council President, along with other current LUMS students also attended the event and shared their experience. It was a great platform for the current students who got a chance to meet the alumni and seek their guidance, and also for alumni who got to know each other. The event ended with plans to meet up more frequently. It was also suggested that a Facebook group of the KPK Chapter should be created.
