Lifetime Learning @LUMS (LLL) celebrated the completion of yet another remarkable session on March 17, 2018 with a vibrant Graduation Ceremony. The event was attended by LUMS top leadership including Mr. Abdul Razzak Dawood, Rector, LUMS, and Ms. Nabiha Shahnawaz, Chief Operating Officer, LUMS.
The LLL Session 4 offered 24 courses in which more than 400 participants enrolled. This is the highest number of participants recorded in LLL so far. The ceremony commenced with the National Anthem. Following this, Adeel Hashmi, the master of ceremony, then welcomed the entire audience and congratulated the graduating participants.
Subsequently, the audience was entertained with a short video giving a glimpse into the amazing LLL journey over the last 4 sessions. This was followed by a live musical performance prepared by the participants of the Singing class. The Event Management class participants had also prepared a short, immersive video about their experience with LLL, that the audience enjoyed thoroughly.
Mr. Abdul Razzak Dawood then congratulated and motivated the graduating participants through his inspirational speech. This was followed by distribution of certificates to all the graduating LLL alumni, and acknowledgement of the hard work put in by the Lifetime Learning Team. Finally, all the attendees enjoyed the hi-tea and simultaneously engaged in networking and discussions.
A display in the form of a colourful art gallery prepared by the talented participants of Photography 101, Painting, Graphic Design, Artisan Baking and Introduction to Design, Clothing and Textile courses was also put up. The repeated faculty who has taught in 3 or more LLL sessions were also given acknowledgement by gifting LUMS souvenirs as tokens of appreciation.
