The LUMS KPK Alumni Chapter had an enjoyable evening on Thursday, 6 July, 2017 when they held a get-together at Pearl Continental Hotel, Peshawar.
With an attendance of over twenty alumni from different batches and programmes, the gathering was a great opportunity for the alumni to rekindle old friendships, meet new Luminites in the area, and engage in discussions about all things LUMS.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presence of Alumnus Muhammad Mughees, BSc 2012, who is currently serving as Assistant Commissioner, Peshawar. Mughees shared details about his journey from LUMS to Civil Service and what role his experience at LUMS has played in his career.
Current LUMS students, who attended the event alongside alumni, appreciated the insights he gave and shared their own experiences at the University also. The get-together was an ideal occasion for the current students to acquaint themselves with alumni and seek their guidance, and also for alumni to stay connected with the latest body of students at their alma mater.
After much fun and festivity, the evening ended with plans to meet up more frequently.
