Karachi Chapter
The Karachi Alumni Chapter held an iftar meet-and-greet event on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Naan Sahab Restaurant. The get-together provided the alumni from various batches an opportunity to get to know each other and enhance their professional network.
The alumni provided positive feedback on the event and suggested that more of such networking events should be organised from time to time, as they provide alumni with a platform to further increase their social and professional circle. Also, the alumni had an enjoyable timing sharing their experiences at LUMS and engaging in discussions about the growth of their alma mater. The evening concluded with excitement and enthusiasm in the air about the upcoming annual reunion in the city.
Islamabad Chapter
Many alumni gathered on Sunday, June 10, 2018 for an iftar dinner hosted by Bilal Gilani, BSc 2009, and Umer Gilani, BA-LLB 2010, in Islamabad.
The evening began with informal introductions, leading to further discussions among the guests belonging to BSc 2009 and 2010 predominantly. Alumni showed genuine interest in various recent developments pertaining to LUMS and there was an eagerness for participating in the annual reunion scheduled for later this year.
The alumni had a great time meeting up and were grateful to fellow Luminites, Bilal and Umer, for having hosted a wonderful iftar consistently over the past few years in Islamabad, providing alumni with an additional platform to connect and share ideas.
