Her Excellency Jeannette Seppen, the Ambassador of Netherlands to Pakistan, visited Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) on August 8, 2016. The Ambassador was welcomed by Prof. Dr. S. Sohail H. Naqvi, LUMS Vice Chancellor, Dr. Junaid Ashraf, Acting Dean Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), Dr. Misbah Tanveer, SDSB faculty, Dr. Fazal Jawad Seyyed, SDSB faculty, Dr. Adeel Zaffar, Faculty Director REDC, Ms. Nabiha Shahnawaz, COO LUMS and Ms. Sarah Karim, Manager Marketing, LUMS.
Dr. Naqvi briefed Ms. Seppen about LUMS, its four schools and the programmes it offers. The presentation was followed by a general discussion where potential partnerships and other collaborative opportunities were discussed. The Ambassador also discussed the possibility of Agri business collaborations between Pakistan and Netherlands.
A tour of the campus then took place which included a visit to the LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship (LCE), the Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) and the Trading Lab at the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB).
