FrieslandCampina conducted a recruitment drive for its 'Young Leaders Programme 2019' on Monday, January 21, 2019 at LUMS. Mr. Wali Shiekh, Brand Manager, FrieslandCampina started the session by giving a brief introduction of the company. He shared that Engro Foods became part of FrieslandCampina global network in December 2016 after signing a share purchase agreement with Engro Corporation to acquire 51% shares in its subsidiary Engro Foods Limited, in partnership with the World Bank Group’s International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Dutch Development Bank FMO. "The acquisition of Engro Foods, the second largest dairy company in Pakistan, enables FrieslandCampina to obtain a key position in Central Asia. Pakistan is the third largest milk producing country in the world with an annual production of 38 billion litres of milk," he said.
Later, Ms. Sehr Babar, Manager, Talent Acquisition took the stage and shared information regarding the Young Leaders Programme and explained the selection process. The recruitment drive concluded with an interactive question and answer session.
