Fatima Group conducted a campus drive for their Management Trainee Programme (MTO), Graduate Trainee Engineering Programme (GTE) and Internship Programme on Thursday, Feb 21, 2019 at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Junaid Asrar, Talent Sustainability-HR Fatima Group, started the session by introducing himself first and then conducted an interesting exercise on how to become successful in life. He then introduced the leads of the different departments at Fatima Group, and the LUMS undergraduate and MBA alumni working with the organisation in different roles. He also showed the audience a corporate video, which gave them a brief history of the company, and how the Fatima Group is playing an important role in the economic development of the country.
Fatima Group is one of the largest business conglomerates in Pakistan operating in diversified sectors like Fertilizers, Textiles, Sugar, Energy, Packaging, Mining and the Trading of commodities. Mr. Asrar then informed the students in detail about the MTO, GTE and Internship Programmes at the company. The MTO and GTE Programmes are 12-month programmes that provide rigorous training and exposure to graduates of different functions. He also explained the steps of the recruitment process of Fatima Group i.e. recruitment drives at campus, an online test, interviews and the Assessment Center.
The presentation ended with an interactive Question and Answer session followed by an online test for the attendees.
