Fatima Group conducted its recruitment drive at LUMS for their IT Graduate Trainee Engineer Programme on Monday, September 5, 2016. The drive targeted Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering graduates of 2016 .
The session started with Ms. Maira Zubair, HR Recruitment Specialist at Fatima Group introducing herself and the team. An introductory video was played which showcased what Fatima Group produces, how they produce and what technology they use in different processing steps. Fatima Group is one of the fastest growing business in Pakistan and have also received ‘Best Performing Stock 2011’ award. Brief overview of its Energy, Sugar, Mining and Textile sectors were also highlighted.
Later Mr. Adeel Tahir, QA Lead and Mr. Hassan Rashid, IT Graduate Trainee Engineer emphasised on the importance of their Information Technology department and highlighted the key role and its functionality. He told that their IT division is a corporate division with a sub department consisting of:
· Business Apps
· Networks
· Infrastructure
· IT Governance and Project Management
Ms. Maira also explained the Recruitment process at Fatima Group which includes the initial test & screening, assessment activities including case study methodologies and then the final interviews with the Group Heads.
The interactive session continued with a Q&A session followed by an online test.
