Embassy of Netherlands Extends Support for LUMS REDC Agribusiness Management Programme

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands has extended its support for the Agribusiness Management (ECAM) Programme offered by Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) by entering a 2-year contract for scholarship seats.

ECAM is a year-long modular programme designed to provide agribusiness entrepreneurs, progressive farmers, executives and businessmen with leading edge managerial know-how and skills essential to operate successfully in the high-stakes agribusiness environment.

Ms. Renate Pors, Deputy Head of Mission and Ms. Winnie van der Wal, Economic Affairs First Secretary, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands commended the programme which aims to impact the management practices and investments ventures in the agri-sector. Dr. Fazal Jawad Seyyed, Programme Director ECAM, applauded the support and encouragement by the Dutch Embassy through faculty development and knowledge exchange in the past three years.

The latest support will develop a strong relationship between the two countries in agricultural management, primarily in dairy and horticulture. It will ensure networking and learning opportunities between LUMS and Dutch universities at multiple levels.
