The Class of BSc 1999 was welcomed back to LUMS for their 20-Year Alumni Reunion on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Executive Dining Hall (EDH) on campus.
With both alumni and spouses in attendance, the reunion kicked off with a brief introductory session where each alumnus took the opportunity to share with their fellow alumni details about their life, career and current whereabouts. The comfortable setting provided the alumni with the opportunity to mingle with each other over a delicious dinner, reminisce the time spent at LUMS, and share latest stories and updates.
Conversations also veered to exchanging views on the current political situation of the country and its impact on the economy. The alumni also had a great time discussing the tremendous amount of changes that have been brought about at their alma mater over the past two decades, making sure to express their admiration for how remarkably well LUMS is progressing.
The evening ended with Ms. Nuzhat Kamran, Director Advancement, extending her deepest gratitude to the alumni for taking the time to get together at the reunion and staying engaged with LUMS.
