Class of 2018 Holds First Alumni Reunion at Bowling Alley

Thursday, July 26, 2018

The alumni from the Class of 2018 took a trip down memory lane at their first alumni reunion held at Uptown LA Bowling Alley on Thursday, June 28, 2018. They reminisced about their time together at LUMS and shared the new experiences of their post-graduation life with their peers.

The reunion drew a large number of graduates from the class of 2018, and it was an entertaining and fun-filled event where the alumni took pictures and played the spirited sport of bowling. In addition to enjoying bowling games, the reunion included the introduction and orientation of the Office of Alumni Relations and Batch 2018 representative elections. It was heartening to see alumni volunteer themselves to represent their batch and perform their duties.

The elections were conducted in a convivial manner and Sheikh Muhammad Asher Iqbal, BS-SSE, Muhammad Aleem Jamil, MS-SSE, Muhammad Taha, MBA, and Bakhtawar Soomro, BSc- MGSHSS, were elected as the representatives for the programmes respectively. Celebrations were in the air as the Batch representatives were rewarded with souvenirs in an entertaining ceremony. The activities were followed by a pizza party during which the alumni reconnected and caught up with each other’s lives.

Is it even possible to have Luminites unite at one place and not take a group photo? A funny photo session including group photos concluded the evening, and the alumni had a great time striking humorous and adventurous poses. Saying farewell was difficult for everyone, but Alumni Relations is always there to organise more of such meet-ups.
