CBS and SEDC Conduct Workshop on 'Writing Effective Grant Proposals'

The Centre for Business & Society (CBS) and the Social Enterprise Development Centre (SEDC) at the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) conducted a workshop on ‘Writing Effective Grant Proposals’ on November 3, 2017. 

The speakers for this session were Professor Dr. Steve Davies, Senior Research Fellow at the International Food Policy Research Institute; Professor Dr. Sohail Jehangir Malik, Chairman of the Innovative Development Strategies (Pvt.) Ltd. and Professor Dr. Syed Ali Hasanain, Assistant Professor of Economics at LUMS.

The session was well attended by faculty, staff and PhD candidates from all departments at LUMS. The workshop, which was applauded for its relevance and cross-disciplinary worth, covered salient concepts of grant writing and effective proposal development, along with personal anecdotes by all the speakers on their experiences as a grant writer and also of working with donor organisations.
