Careem conducted its campus drive for its Internship and Management Trainee Programme at LUMS on April 25, 2017. Mr. Ahmar Awan, Supply Manager Careem, started the session with a brief introduction of Careem being a transportation network company based in Dubai, with operations in 53 cities in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia.
He further added that Careem started its operations in July 2012 as a web-based service for corporate car bookings, and later on evolved to become a transportation network company with car hire services for daily use. Mr. Awan then showed some videos on Careem to educate the audience about the company. He said that Careem empowers its employees to work in a competitive environment and offers vast career growth. He then informed the students about Careem’s Internship and Management Trainee programme and the process of how to apply for it. The session concluded with a questions and answers session.
