Great teams are built and hinge on a true sense of leadership, commitment and clear alignment with an organisation’s strategic direction. Recognising the importance of team cohesion, Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) conducted one of its popular programmes: Building High Performance Teams (BHPT) from November 17 – 20, 2015. The programme focused on optimisation of human capital, team synergies, conflict resolution and translating team cohesion into productivity and performance.

Led by Programme Director, Arif Nazir Butt and supported by Anwar Khurshid, BHPT is an immersive and experiential programme which address core issues related to human performance as an individual and as a group. The outdoor simulation “Chef@LUMS” provides a novel dimension to LUMS signature case methodology. This year’s programme has been very well received by the participants.

“One of the best programmes attended globally. Knowledgeable, innovative and linked with real working environment,” Saad Hameed, SNL Financial Pakistan (programme participant).

“The flow of the programme is very logical and builds on the content sequentially. A very comprehensive intervention on team dynamics and performance enhancement that could be designed and delivered,” Muhammad Afzal, SHELL Pakistan Limited (programme participant).

“It was an experience enriched programme. Chef@LUMS has added life into this BHPT programme,” Roman Ali, State Bank of Pakistan (programme participant).
