LUMS alumnus, Usman Khalid, BSc 2002 and MBA 2008, is participating as an Agriculture Expert in the renowned Sulphur and Sulphuric Acid Markets Summit 2017. This unique event, co-produced by Bloomberg owned company, Green Markets, and Acuity Commodities, gives stakeholders across the sulphur and sulphuric acid complex a detailed view of supply, demand and pricing and uncovers future business considerations.
Usman is a management and marketing professional with over 10 years of agriculture industry experience. Currently, he is working as Marketing Manager for Tiger-Sul Products, the world’s largest Sulphur Bentonite producer. He has extensive experience in driving and managing businesses in the fertilizer, crop production and the seed sector for leading American and European global agribusiness giants.
Working for Tiger-Sul Products, his key focus area is Sulphur value chain and its agricultural applications. Usman has been engaged in the development of International Sulphur and micronutrient markets, including the development and expansion of Tiger-Sul Products and sulphur based fertilizer production facilities globally.
As an expert speaker at the event, Usman will provide his insight and guidance from years of experience in the field, from working in agriculture product development and new product launches, to branding and product management for agricultural technologies.
