The Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE) at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) has been authorised by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) to launch its BS Chemical Engineering Programme after successful zero visit. The Programme aims to provide world-class teaching and research in Chemical Engineering. The programme is housed at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, which provides an excellent training platform to the students pursuing their education in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering disciplines.
The history of chemists working in the groundbreaking research and chemical engineers helping them in upscaling the products toward commercialisation, is long. The Department of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering will provide an opportunity to the chemists and chemical engineers to work together in close coordination in accordance with the no-boundaries vision of Syed Babar Ali School of Sciences and Engineering.
