An insightful panel discussion on the evolving Pakistani business landscape was organized at Suleman Dawood School of Business LUMS on Thursday, December 12th, 2019. The panel comprised:

- Omar Khayyam Sheikh (CEO Hadayat Sons)
- Salman Akhtar (Co-Founder and Co-CEO Techlogix)
Honorary Dean SDSB LUMS, Dr. Alnoor Bhimani welcomed the panelists and opened the session. The panel shares personal experiences and wisdom gained over the years, highlighting opportunities for investment, expansion and success. The panelists took turns discussing their business experiences, from establishment to the evolution of family based enterprises. They also discussed the evolving challenges facing entrepreneurs in Pakistan, including regulatory hurdles, financial issues, workforce development and retention, and other commercial challenges.
This was followed by sharing individual and collective views on entrepreneurial expertise and what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. The panelists then took questions from an audience of students, graduates, and members of civil society. The event concluded over networking tea.
