Ms. Anam Fatima

Ms. Anam Fatima has been with LUMS as a Teaching Fellow for History at MGSHSS since 2018. She has an MA in International Relations from University of Warwick and a B.Sc. in Economics and Politics from LUMS. Prior to joining LUMS full-time, she served as an adjunct faculty at Forman Christian college University in the department of Politics. She also served as an RA at the Department of Politics and International Studies at University of Warwick on a project deconstructing the narrative on drone attacks in Pakistan. 

Her research interests include deconstructing subaltern security narratives, politics of gender, popular culture and Pakistan’s history. She is currently teaching Pakistan Studies online while trying to make it intellectually stimulating for new students at LUMS. Her MA research and thesis on women in Pakistani popular culture was published by the Journal of International Women’s Studies in 2019. Her current project focuses on the history of women’s reproductive health in Pakistan."
