Ufone is coming to LUMS to provide information and recruit students for their flagship Summer Internship Programme.

Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (PTML) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) that started its operations in January 2001 under the brand name Ufone. As a result of PTCL's privatisation, Ufone became part of the Emirates Telecommunication Corporation Group (Etisalat) in 2006. Since its inception, Ufone has focused on the people of Pakistan, empowering them with the most relevant communication modes and services that enable them to do a lot more than just make and at a price that suits them the most.
Ufone is on its way to find talented and intellectually bright individuals for their real-time on-going projects. This year Ufone has programmed a complete journey; finalising more exciting, refined, and intellectually challenging projects for their future interns. Coupled with many technical/soft skills training and workshops, Ufone will ensure a great learning experience as well as corporate grooming for the interns.
The target audience for the Summer Internship is undergraduate students from the BA (Honors) English, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Computer Science, BSc (Honours) Accounting and Finance, BSc (Honours) Management Science and BSc Economics programmes.
