In collaboration with the Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development (QAED), the Syed Ahsan Ali and Syed Maratib Ali School of Education (SOE) at LUMS is piloting the Punjab Education Sector Programme II (PESP 2) AEOs Training Pilot Project across four districts of Punjab—Chakwal, Faisalabad, Mianwali and Bahawalpur.
The training will target approximately 360 Assistant Education Officers (AEOs).
Date: January 24-25, 2020
Venue: LUMS
The pilot will conclude with the Reflective Learning Component in which the trained Master Trainers (MTs) and AEOs will reflect on lessons learned and challenges encountered. How problems were solved using data, structured research approaches to assessing the school environment, and empathic/experiential leadership to motivate and guide school (leadership) despite evident constraints to AEO autonomy will also be discussed.
The regroup will bring together the trained AEOs and MTs, SOE faculty and other stakeholders at the two-day conference. Prior to the regroup, the MTs and AEOs will reconvene in smaller district-level groups to work on a preparatory assignment.
