World Water Day is held on March 22 to raise awareness about global water challenges. The theme for World Water Day 2020 is ‘Water and Climate Change’ as the two are inextricably linked. To mark the occasion, the Centre for Water Informatics and Technology (WIT) at LUMS is launching an essay competition on World Water Day.
Title for essay competition: Everyone has a role to play in fighting climate change: Sustainable, Affordable and Scalable Water and Sanitation Solutions
Deadline for Submission: April 10, 2020
Word Limit: 1000-1500 words

The cash prize for the winner is PKR 20,000 and the top 3 runner-up positions will win PKR 10,000.
