SOE is hosting a Brown Bag meeting in which Laraib Niaz, PhD Candidate at IOE University College London will be presenting her work. The title of her research work is ‘The Intersection between Religion and Education at the Classroom Level: The Case of Pakistan’. Laraib Niaz is a current PhD candidate at the Institute of Education, University College London in Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment. Her research focuses on the intersection of religion in education in Pakistan at the classroom level using qualitative case studies with ethnographic methods as the main methodological tool. She completed a Masters in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2015 and Bachelors in Economics and Finance from the Lahore School of Economics in 2013. She has also previously worked with United Nations World Food Programme on hunger and migration, which resulted in a published report in 2015.
