Career Opportunities in Australia - A Session by Macquarie University

The Career Services Office (CSO) is organising an Information Session on “Career Opportunities in Australia” by Macquarie University, Australia for LUMS students.  Mr. Tanveer Shaheed, Regional Director, South Asia will conduct the session.

About the Session
 
The session would surely be an invaluable opportunity for the students seeking employability in global arena encompassing latest updates and tips about employability opportunities. Also, this will give a holistic idea about current status of Australia and opportunities for young Pakistani graduates in Australia. Mr. Tanveer Shaheed will also be providing counselling to students pertaining to Study Opportunities, Admissions, Scholarships and most importantly entry requirements at Macquarie University.  This would also be very helpful for students who seek to apply at Macquarie University for their higher studies and also for those who already hold offers from Macquarie University. 
 
    
About the Speaker
 
Tanveer Shaheed is a business development management professional with 15 years of experience in higher education sector. He has been working in Australian Universities at various departments including Global Engagement and Business Development, Student Recruitment, Faculty, International Admissions, Student Services, Student Administration and Quality Assurance.
 
Mr. Shaheed is currently working as a Regional Director of South Asia for Macquarie University, Sydney with the responsibilities to develop and implement strategies to promote education excellence of Australian Universities and assist international institutions to be part of it. He has a Master’s of Business Administration in Marketing, a Master’s of Computer Science (Software Engineering) and a Bachelor’s of Computer Science.
