Prospects and Opportunities for Lawyers in the First Ten Years of their Career

There will be a discussion on the implications that courts have when dealing with public sector establishments and how the role of a lawyer has to be more flexible and agile. The challenges and excruciating pressures that often impede the pace of litigation and create a sense of distrust amongst young lawyers who invariably give in and become disinterested in working for our legal system shall be an important fraction of discussion. The discussion will be pointing out as to how the current proactive judiciary provides a supporting role for lawyers.

Brief Profile of Barrister Momin Malik:

• He has independent practice which covers criminal and civil cases including Legal work in the public sector
• He is running his own independent law firm with the name of M- Legal
• Doing criminal work since 2012. He has successfully argued many criminal appeals and he is legal advisor to various private schools, cooperate entities, housing societies and banks etc.
• Bar at law from the Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn
• Received Onwauzar prize for the best international performance- Cardiff University
• Head-boy Aitchison College and winner of the Rivaz Gold Medal for the overall best leaving student
