Do you want to master the art of making superb, captivating videos? Luck is on your side! LUMS is offering an extraordinary opportunity to its community to learn through a free of charge workshop on video making, ‘Lights, Camera, Action!’

This workshop will develop your comprehension of the concept of video making and will augment your repertoire as a video maker by allowing you to make energising, captivating and immersive videos. Through this two-hour short training practicum, you’ll be acquainted with various significant mechanisms including the software, hardware and editing requirements for stellar video making. All you have to do is bring your laptop with the free software ‘Camtasia’ already installed in it.

About the Speaker

Dr. Barbara Oakley is a Professor of Engineering at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. Her work centres around the complex relationship between neuroscience and social behaviour. She teaches Coursera – UC San Diego’s ‘Learning How to Learn’, a very popular massive open online course. Dr. Oakley is a New York Times best-selling author—her book, Learning How to Learn, written with neuroscientist, Terrence Sejnowski, is geared to give neuroscientific tools to children aged ten and above to facilitate their learning.
