About the speaker
A Bachelor of Liberal Arts from International Christian University, Tokyo, Mr. Ando has been associated with Mitsubishi Corporation since 1982. He has held some key posts from Mitsubishi’s platform in different parts of the world including Egypt, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Indonesia.
In addition to his association with Mitsubishi Corporation, Mr. Ando is also the Director of Tri-Pack Films Limited, Director of Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT), Vice Chairman of Pakistan Japan Business Forum (PJBF) and is a Member of the Governing Body for Liaquat National Hospital, Karachi.
Mr. Ando was also elected as President of Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OICCI) in 2013. After completing his tenure as President, he was chosen as OICCI Management Committee Member, in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
He is the recipient of the Sitara-i-Pakistan 2018; conferred upon him in recognition of his services and support for Pakistan.
In his leisure time, his main hobbies are playing golf and tennis. He also loves to travel and is passionate about learning and understanding other cultures and languages. Mr. Ando is fluent in Japanese, English, Arabic and Bahasa Indonesia.
