About the speaker
Mr. Farooq Naseem is a leading entrepreneur of Pakistan. He earned his Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (BME) from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA and Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Notre Dame, USA. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California, USA.
Mr. Naseem has been associated with professional institutes of Engineering, Finance and Accounting; He is a visiting faculty member at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Pakistan (ICAP), both at Karachi and Lahore.
With primary focus on education, Mr. Naseem actively participates in social-welfare services through TRUST Schools (a network of quality education schools for deserving children with high merit), LUMS, The PAKPUR Foundation (low-income housing and medical projects) and LABARD (rehabilitation of the disabled through the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and others.
DWP Group was incorporated in 1999 and currently employs 3,750 personnel. DWP’s footprint is nationwide having a direct presence in 28 cities of Pakistan with manufacturing bases at Lahore and Karachi. Group headquarters is based in Lahore.
