The startup ecosystem in Pakistan has grown dramatically in recent years, with individual elements of the value chain exhibiting increasing levels of maturity. A number of incubators and accelerators have firmly cemented their reputations, helping to shepherd numerous startups in their early stages.

Local angel investors and seed financiers are engaging with young entrepreneurs, providing much needed growth capital, and venture capitalists, both domestic and international, have started plowing in secondary rounds of financing. Khareed team will also be sharing their experience with students on possible hurdles and benefits of working in a startup.

Mr. Haroon Sethi, CEO of Khareed will also be discussing about how to systematically identify opportunities to disrupt industries, markets, and common practices in a manner that is commercially viable, profitable, and scalable.
