Chevening Scholarship Information Session at LUMS

Career Services Office (CSO) is organising an Information Session on the Chevening Scholarship. The Chevening team will be visiting LUMS to brief the interested and potential scholars about the scheme and application process. This session would be a splendid opportunity for individuals who seek to apply through this scholarship.

About Chevening Scholarship

The Chevening Scholarship is the UK government’s international awards scheme aimed at developing global leaders and is funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The programme provides a unique opportunity for future leaders to build a global network of professional significance and also to establish social, cultural, academic or commercial partnerships with the UK. In Pakistan, we already have over 1,400 Chevening alumni.  

 

Eligibility Criteria: Pakistani nationals, who hold a Master’s degree or a four-year undergraduate degree, and have at least two year’s work experience in a field related to the course they are applying to study.

 

What’s included in a Chevening Scholarship?  They will provide funding for a one-year Master’s degree, return airfares to the UK, a monthly living stipend, an accommodation allowance.  They can also provide part funding, if the scholar has secured funding for their academic fees from other sources.
