This Fall semester, the Gurmani Centre for Languages and Literature (GCLL), in collaboration with the Gad & Brigit Rausing Library, is hosting a series of eight weekly lectures at LUMS on one of the most prominent Urdu poets, Mirza Aasadullah Khan Ghalib.
Leading scholars of Urdu literature will each deliver a lecture on one or two ghazals, selected in collaboration with Halqa-e-Danish.
Lectures will be held every Friday, beginning on September 30, 2016
